Thunderbolt™ connectivity
4K video files are huge and require lots of bandwidth to transfer and edit them. With up to 20 Gb/s available bandwidth (twenty times normal Ethernet network bandwidth), these files are copied incredibly quickly.

USB One-touch Copy
New footage can be instantly imported to the NAS by connecting cameras to the front-panel USB port and by pushing the copy button.

Online transcoding
While 4K is the target resolution for a lot of Bilderbunker's projects, the ability to quickly transcode these videos to 1080p and other resolutions allows them to easily preview them on a wide range of devices including PCs, Smart TVs and smartphones.

Near-instant file search
When importing older recordings and media, some of these files may be hard to find as they may not be organized or saved in a user-friendly manner. With QNAP's proprietary Qsirch search engine, these files can be easily found based on keywords, metadata, date/time, and other conditions.

Other connectivity
Alongside its two Thunderbolt™ 2 ports, the TVS-871T also features a wide range of connectivity options for networks and for USB devices. There are two 10GbE ports for high-speed networks, four 1GbE ports for conventional networks and five USB ports (3x 3.0, 2x 2.0) for connecting additional devices and storages.
